The location of Gualtallary is at the foot of the Andes and therefore, thermal amplitude is considerable. Between the hot sunny days and the cool nights, there is frequently a difference of more than 20ºC. This significant fluctuation in temperature contributes to the homogeneous and balanced development of sugars, polyphenols, color, acids and flavors. All these factors combine to produce an ideal result: wines with great concentration and balance. In addition, the dry climate of this region and the scarce rain (annual average 200/250mm) allow management of irrigation according to the plant needs in each step of the productive process.
